Refund and cancellation policy

Last updated: 16 October 2025

This policy applies to professional consulting engagements (assessments, workshops, coaching, retainers) agreed in writing with Logic Canyon (Pty) Ltd. This website does not process online payments.

Deposits

Legacy application assessments and dependency mapping workshops require a 40% deposit to reserve calendar time. Deposits are invoiced separately and credited against the final invoice.

Cancellation by client

Rescheduling

One free reschedule is permitted if requested at least 14 days before the start date. Further changes may incur a R 4 500 rescheduling fee to cover replanning.

No-shows

Failure to provide agreed access (VPN, interviewees, or workshop room) on the start date without notice is treated as a client delay. We will attempt to reschedule once; if access is not provided within five business days, the day is charged at the contracted daily rate.

Work already started

Once discovery interviews or on-site workshop facilitation has begun, fees for completed days and documented deliverables to date are non-refundable. Partial refunds for undelivered portions of fixed-fee assessments may be considered proportionally if we mutually agree to terminate early in writing.

Coaching sprints

Coaching billed weekly in arrears is due for days already delivered. Unused prepaid coaching days may be refunded if cancellation is requested before the sprint starts and no preparatory work was performed.

Non-refundable items

Third-party travel booked on your behalf, specialised tooling licences purchased for your engagement, and rush report delivery surcharges are non-refundable once incurred.

Cancellation by Logic Canyon

If we cancel due to illness or force majeure, deposits are fully refunded or the engagement rescheduled at your choice.

Refund process and timing

Approved refunds are paid to the original invoiced entity via EFT within 14 business days. Request refunds in writing to info@logic-canyon.digital with invoice numbers and reason.

Disputes

We aim to resolve billing concerns directly. Unresolved disputes are subject to the governing law provisions in our service agreement and South African consumer law where applicable.
